Why are we upgrading to smart meters?
A part of the nation’s efforts to reduce energy usage, the UK Government wants energy suppliers to install smart meters in all homes and businesses by the end of June 2025.
More than 21.5 million smart meters have been installed already. This initiative will help significantly in helping Britain reach net zero by 2050.
